An aspiring Catholic communicator,
A Minnesota homebody thrown into a semester long adventure across the ocean.
What better place to be than Italy?
I get to spend 4 months of my life being challenged intellectually, spiritually, physically, and no-doubt geographically in the Catholic capital of the world. I get to study the root of my faith on the same steps where saints walked, drink fresh local wine and eat fresh Focaccia for dinner. And I get to wave to Pope Benedict XVI ("Papa Bene") as I walk to class at the Angelicum.
What more can I say? I am tremendously blessed.
And one thing is for sure, I will not take a second of it for granted.
Rome, Florence, Milan, Venice, Greece, Siena, Assisi, Pompeii, Lake Como and more....Here I Come!
